What women want:

What do women like in videogames? What appeals to them? I started thinking about this when I walked into my class of 20 guys + me the other day (I'm going to be a video game designer, fact.) and wondered why women aren't more into gaming. From what the guys have said we (women) like to collect stuff? Hmm I like collecting trophies but that's about it. Apparently we also like the sims, dressing up characters and real lifeism in our games but let's put this to the test and hopefully I can also use this info for some of my future projects at school. I don't want to hear what guys THINK we like I want to know what we REALLY like (personally I hope that we're not the you know "typical female gamer" but then again it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong...)

So for all you girls out there what makes gaming appeal to you? Does your personality have to do with your style of gaming likes and dislikes? What to you, makes a good game? What would you want to play more of? What do you HATE about games?
